Dear Friend of Sauer Energy,
No question, this has been a terrific year for our company! And if that gives the impression that I’m sitting here at my desk in a slight state of blissful wonder, well, that would be somewhat true. 2015 has been a real turning-point for all of us at Sauer Energy, no question — and it feels really, really good!
Actually, I’m feeling quite chipper for several reasons, with one major exception.
First, of course, moving into our new 26,550 sq. ft. HQ and manufacturing facility was a really big deal. It meant moving over 60 truckloads of equipment, inventory & “stuff” and we’ve only recently just gotten fully settled with everything in its place. As I told you earlier, our new home covers everything: office and administration, warehousing, research and development, testing and, of course, manufacturing. It took a while but now, finally, we’re now really feeling “at home”.
Second, we’ll have some big news to share with you in early-January, which will be a major step-forward in our development of cost-effective wind-generated energy. Keep in mind …
State-of-the-art wind energy has come a long way over the past few years, and our ‘WindCutter’ VAWT probably leads the world for cost-effective power in the home/rural category. Our R&D has been proceeding non-stop — it’s a never-ending process — and our 2016 model ‘WindCutter’ is in a class by itself. (More about that next month.)
Third, we can see wind and other alternative energies coming into their own and reaching new levels of acceptance. We told you last month about the free wind-generated energy they’re giving away in Texas.
And last week in Paris, all the countries came together to set new standards for lowering their carbon emission levels. It’s happening all around us, and I’m happy to say that our company has been a leading innovator in the home/rural category.
Off-the-grid power is becoming increasingly important in this scary world of hacking and cyber-attacks, and Sauer Energy will be playing a major role.
And finally, energy storage technology — next-generation lithium batteries — is becoming increasingly important, and we expect to have some major news to announce in the second quarter of 2016. Remember, it’s not enough to create wind-generated energy, because what good is it at 3 am if it’s “use it or lose it”?
Your WindCutter has to be working whenever there’s wind, 24/7, but you also need to store your energy for when you need it. This is another exciting field — with Elon Musk playing a major role — and Sauer Energy will be part of the action.
The one discordant note in this letter is the price of our stock. It’s awful. There are investors who have been shorting SENY and, absolutely, we’ve been taking a beating. However this has not been slowing us down — our financing has been locked in — and we remain on schedule. And that's what counts.
Of course, this hurts us personally, as it does you. Going forward, we will continue to work diligently towards the ultimate goal of certifying the WindCutter and becoming profitable.
So, yes, I’m looking forward to a very good year in 2016 — hopefully, even better than 2015. Watch for our emails, we’ll be in touch every couple of weeks or so.
Ana and I, together with our corporate family, send you and your family our very best wishes for the New Year. Stay healthy!
